We are looking for experienced counsellors to join our services. We have vacancies for counsellors to work with Adults, Couples, Families and Children and Young People across Gloucestershire.
Counsellors MUST be accredited with BACP, BPC or an equivalent professional body.
We are looking for supervisors who would be interested in talking to us about joining the supervision team for both the BPC-accredited Dipolma in Psychodynamic Counselling and for existing experienced counsellors working within our service. Supervisors must be experienced in supervising Psychodynamic work and be either BPC-accredited or registrants of an equivalent body such as UKCP or BACP.

Tavistock & Portman NHS Trust, MA Psychological therapies with children, young people and families (M34)
We are seeking qualified and accredited individuals with substantial experience in work with children and families to join the course team in a variety of roles (as above)from September 2020.
This innovative 2 year course equips people to work therapeutically with children, young people and families. It is also accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) through membership of the Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists (TSP). It is intended for those working in a voluntary or statutory sector setting with children and families including counsellors, social workers, teachers, psychotherapists, creative arts therapists, child and adolescent primary mental health care workers, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) practitioners, occupational therapists and nurses.
Trainees who successfully complete the 2 year course and required clinical development are eligible for British Psychoanalytic Council registration as a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist working with Children, Young People and Families.
Hours and place of work
Groups will run every Thursday during term-time in Stroud for 1.25 hours.
The positions advertised and the numbers of vacancies are subject to cohort size. Staff will be employed by the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust as Visiting Lecturers with the base location in Stroud. The VL contract rate is £52 for each 1.25 hour session plus allowances for meeting attendance and marking work.
