VACANCY: STAFF and BANK COUNSELLOR POSTS
We offer two different types of contract and we are recruiting for both staff and bank counsellors locally and nationwide.
We are seeking to fill these roles with qualified, enthusiastic and motivated individuals committed to providing high quality counselling within a professional community of counsellors. You will need to have a sound professional counselling training to diploma level and a good understanding of the psychodynamic approach. You will also have achieved BACP, BPC Accreditation or be an NCS Accredited Professional Registrant (or equivalent professional accreditation).

Each year, we provide over 12,000 counselling sessions to children, families, couples and individual adults. We also have a contract to provide counselling to victims of sexual violence, domestic violence and those whose mental health has been impacted by Covid. The counselling service is BACP accredited and employs more than 60 counsellors and clinical supervisors.
GCS delivers both open-ended and time-limited counselling services underpinned by an understanding of psychodynamic principles. Therefore, we are recruiting locally and nationally.
GCS is also a major provider of counselling training offering a range of courses from counselling skills training to an accredited Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling and ongoing regular CPD.

Ours is a long-established and highly respected service where you will be supported in your role through regular line management, clinical supervision and access to professional training and development.
