The GCS Post Qualifying Programme

The Post Qualifying Programme is a programme designed to support counsellors and psychotherapists as they move from qualification into confident, independent practice. The programme offers structured CPD seminars alongside reflective Work Discussion Groups, providing both learning and peer support.

A year-long programme with flexibility to book 3-month blocks at a time
BACP Accreditation support
£300
Certificate in Counselling Skills

The Post-Qualification Programme is organised on a termly basis with a structured set of seminars each term. The seminars are different each term and do not repeat on an annual basis, so participants can join the programme at the start of any term and remain for as long as they wish. The programme is held monthly, in-person in Stroud, offering opportunities for networking and connecting with colleagues who are at a similar stage in their professional development.

Participation does not guarantee a counselling placement within GCS, although opportunities may be shared with Post-Qualification Programme members when available.
