About the Workshop
Curious about IFS but not sure where to start? This packed, experiential morning workshop offers counsellors (whether in training or fully qualified) a lively and accessible introduction to Internal Family Systems therapy.
It weaves together teaching, experiential exercises and the chance to practise in triads, so you’ll leave with not just an understanding of IFS but a felt sense of it. Expect handouts, a few surprises, and hopefully a little magic along the way. Topics will include the core principles of IFS, the flow of the model, an introduction to parts and the Self, and how IFS can integrate with your existing therapeutic approach.
About Your Facilitator
This workshop is facilitated by Natasha Wilson, a UKCP-accredited Integrative Psychotherapist with extensive experience across a range of therapeutic modalities.
Natasha is an IFS Certified Therapist having completed Levels 1–3, she also has in-depth training in Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO) and is currently on the certification track in Relational Life Therapy (RLT). She is in regular IFS therapy herself and receives ongoing supervision from IFS, RLT, and UKCP-accredited supervisors — meaning she doesn’t just teach this work, she lives it.
She brings a holistic, multi-disciplinary lens to her work, integrating body-based and neurobiological understanding alongside an awareness of how culture, identity, and lived experience shape the inner world. “Peer-reviewed” AuDHD, she brings particular sensitivity to neurodifference and the unique ways in which neurodivergent individuals experience their internal landscape.
This workshop is for you if:
- You’re curious about IFS and want a hands-on introduction
- You’d like to experience IFS from the inside
- You’re looking to expand your therapeutic toolkit
