Counselling for Your Employees
EWS (Employee Wellbeing Service) provides prompt access to short-term counselling (6 sessions) for staff working in a variety of organisations.
Many situations, whether personal or job-related, have an impact on emotional well-being and EWS provides somewhere safe and confidential for staff to turn to when they are in emotional distress.
For our client organisations, EWS provides an additional source of staff support to that provided by line managers and HR. Current organisations using EWS include local authorities, schools and colleges, charities, and commercial businesses.
EWS operates on a pay-as-you-go basis, and this allows flexibility in how the service is used according to varying needs. For more information, please contact [email protected] and a member of our team will get back to you about what we can do for your organisation.
How your staff access their counselling services
Staff can register directly with GCS or via their HR department as their employee prefers. Staff can register online using the button at the top of the page which says ‘Start Counselling Now’, entering a specific referral code from the organisation. Once we have received completed registration forms we will match the individual with a counsellor who will make direct contact to arrange counselling sessions.
Ongoing Sessions
Counselling sessions normally take place weekly at a GCS venue at a regular day and time agreed with the counsellor. We can provide counselling online if preferred.
Standard terms and conditions for this counselling service are set out in Service Level Agreements between GCS and its organisational clients. For more information, please contact us.
Our Therapists
All of our therapists have relevant experience and are BACP registered. After completing the initial assessment we will review your responses and match you with a therapist most suited to your needs.
