This course aims to deepen our understanding of eating difficulties, boost confidence in working with clients facing these challenges, and provide valuable tools and skills for effective therapy.

 

Training Highlights:

Understanding Eating Difficulties: Explore the nuances of eating difficulties in children and young people, including common causes and manifestations.

Building Confidence: Gain insights and strategies to enhance confidence when working with clients facing eating challenges, fostering a supportive and empathetic therapeutic environment.

Practical Tools and Skills: Acquire practical tools and skills that can be directly applied in therapy sessions, promoting effective intervention and positive outcomes. How to assess risk, and where to signpost.

 

Tutor 

Amy Murray from TEDs (TIC+ Eating Difficulties Service) – Amy is the Service Lead for the TIC eating difficulties service that works directly with Gloucestershire NHS Eating Disorders Service. Amy is also a qualified CYP counsellor, supervisor and delivers training on the CPCAB Level 5 CYP Counselling Training.
